QR Tool ("the App") is a standalone QR code and barcode utility that runs entirely on your device. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles and confirms that we are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, store on external servers, or share any personal information. Specifically:

• The App has no internet permission — it cannot send any data over the network.
• No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party tracking.
• We do not access your contacts, location, microphone, or photo gallery beyond what you explicitly choose.

2. Permissions the App Uses

• Camera: used only for scanning QR codes and barcodes with the on-screen viewfinder. Camera frames are processed in real time on your device and are never recorded, saved, or transmitted.
• Vibration: used solely to provide haptic feedback after a successful scan.
• Storage (Android 9 and below): used only when you choose to save a generated QR code image to your device.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device, inside the App's own private storage:

• Your scan and generation history (text, links, Wi-Fi strings, etc. that you scanned or created).
• Your preferences, such as language and theme settings.

This data never leaves your device. You can clear the history at any time from within the App. Uninstalling the App removes all of this local data.

4. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

5. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this same URL with a revised "Last updated" date.
